One year has passed since this sham competition and still no closure was ever offered from the organizers. This was very unprofessional of NLS. Dont know why this university is so renowned.

I dont know what the issue is, but i can assure you, that an RTI would most definitely work against NLS (It is a public authority afterall) However, in an RTI application you can only ask for information in the form that already exists, documents et al. so if you send an rti query be sure to include the specific documents pertaining to the competition that you want. If you wanna know how to draft an rti app. look up the CIC’s facebook page. Its helpful. You can find the contact of NLS’ public inoformation officer on their website. Goodluck.

I think they should be called up; lets try and get the numbers of the Law and Technology Comm from NLS. This is not done.

The college replied saying that they have submitted it to the law firm and it will take few weeks more. I got this reply 1 month back. The e mail of the firm is law [at] poovayya [dot] net.

These people really are insanely resilient about not declaring the results. I have a feeling this was a sham competition.

Yes and here I was hoping if I end up winning or something, I could put it on my CV when I apply to Law Firms for internship. Pretty damn disappointed with how this competition has been organized. I hope for the sake of us participants that they haven’t forgotten about this altogether and do come out with the results sometime soon!

    NLSIU / POOVAYYA,

I refer to the technology law drafting competition organised by NLS and Poovayya.

On the face of it is disgusting that we are unable to hear from both of you either of the results nor updates about when the results will be out even after patiently waiting for 3 months time.

Don’t know whats daring you so long to declare results. The worst of worst law universities in India would never take soo much time in valuing the answer sheets.

NLSIU should not spoil their reputation by joining hands with some local law firms which is not committed towards punctuality and towards legal education.

As the saying delayed justice is denied justice same is the case here. Delayed results are denied results.

Requesting both these entities to refrain from advertising and publishing these sort of competitions and pushing the student community  into deep hardship.

    Regards,

    Leo Vince

So when are they coming out? This is getting really irritating. Tried contacting the organisers, but to no avail.
