Vahura is India’s leading legal talent management firm and an affiliate of Rainmaker. Vahura works with India’s top law firms and corporate legal teams to provide bespoke services in the areas of legal recruitment, consulting and candidate employability.

Vahura is calling for Law School Research Consultants (‘LSRCs’) to power a unique research project that will empirically study and analyse the legal industry to provide insight and in-depth knowledge of lawyers, their careers, law firms, corporate in-house departments and law schools and universities. LSRCs will gain a deep understanding of the career trajectories of their alumni in India and abroad and will also get valuable information on real-world issues relevant to the profession of law.

THE ROLE

As an LSRC, your role will include:

  • Executing surveys and interviews to meet research objectives using the best identified research methodology;
  • Acting as the primary point of contact among students, alumni, the law school, the law school administration and Vahura;
  • Preparing and presenting research findings;
  • Publicising and organising Vahura initiatives among your network (both offline and online); and
  • Acting as the anchor for Vahura communications and initiatives on campus

DURATION: The tenure of the project will extend from September 2012 to March 2013.

SELECTION PROCESS

We are looking for students with great interpersonal skills, drive and motivation. Vahura will select one (or occasionally, two) LSRC per law school through the following process:

    • Short-listed candidates will be asked to undertake an IVR-based telephone interview during which they will also be asked to undertake a small task.
